Eliza Barry (Kerr)
Eliza is a Physiotherapist specialising in treating incontinence and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Eliza graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1996. She has postgraduate qualifications in continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Eliza has had extensive experience as Senior Women's Health Physiotherapist at The Monash Medical Centre, Cabrini Hospital, Frankston Hospital, Melbourne Health's Continence Clinic and private rooms in Malvern.
Eliza's role at Geelong Urology is to assist patients to normalise their bladder, bowel and pelvic floor function. Patients are seen before and after procedures including urological, gynaecological or prostate surgery.
What to expect

• assessment (perineal/vaginal/rectal if required and with patient's consent)
• education and treatment which may involve pelvic floor muscle training
• core stability training
• bladder retraining
• voiding/defecation dynamics
• other lifestyle factors
A handout is always provided as well as communications with your doctor as approved by patient.
A specialist or GP referral is not necessary to see Eliza.
Private Health rebates may apply for her services. Patients may be eligible for a Medicare rebate under the Enhanced Primary Care program that requires a referral.
Eliza also works with women with prenatal and postnatal musculoskeletal conditions and general aches, pains and acute injuries.
