- Please empty your bladder completely 2 hours prior to your appointment.
- Drink 2 large glasses of water straight away.
- Do not empty your bladder again until you get to your appointment.
When arriving to your appointment the Urological Nurse will ask you to pass urine into a special device that measures the urine volume and force, (you will be left in privacy to do this), followed by a bladder scan ultrasound to check the volume of urine retained in your bladder.
Payment: There may be a fee for this test + a fee for your consultation with the specialist.
