No Geelong Urology does not perform circumcisions on babies or young children. We only treat patients from age 13 upwards.
Street parking is available around the Granada Medical Centre. This is payable via the Easy Park app.
There is also parking available underneath SJOG Hospital. To pay for this parking you have to exit via the main entrance of the hospital. Please allow enough time to find a carpark, as sometimes this can be challenging.
We are happy to see any patient who has a referral from their GP. Our specialists have public appointments at Barwon Health. We are unable to bypass the public hospital outpatient clinic or waiting list.
Certain investigations and treatments can be self funded without private health insurance. This can be discussed at your appointment if you would prefer. The same initial consult fee applies for these consultations.
Please be aware that the BCG we give is into the bladder as a treatment for cancer. It is not the Tuberculosis needle required for pre travel overseas.
We see children often from 13 years and older. If you require a paediatric urology surgery review we recommend Dr Robert Coleman. Please refer to his website for more information. http://colemanurology.com.au/
