New patients require a referral from another doctor to make an appointment. This is necessary to ensure that the specialist you are seeing is appropriate for you and your condition. Having a referral also allows you to claim a higher Medicare rebate on the consultation fee. A referral from your GP is valid for 12 months. A referral from another specialist is valid for 3 months.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please phone our office during business hours at least 24 hours before your appointment. Otherwise a cancellation fee will be charged, this is so we can offer your appointment time to another patient on our waiting list.
